Emily Pins came to IPCP in 2017 as the Multi-Classroom Teacher whose role is to provide support to all of the classes at IPCP. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Documentary Arts from Antioch College in Ohio and a Post-Baccalaureate certificate from the School of Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Emily came to IPCP with 6 years of preschool teaching experience and experience as a children’s art instructor.
Alexandria “Alex” started at IPCP in 2017 as an Assistant Multi-Age Teacher and became a Lead Multi-Age Teacher in 2018. She has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from DeVry University. Prior to coming to IPCP, Alex worked as a nanny and spent 10 years in the banking industry.
Toni Lonon returned to IPCP in 2016 as a Lead Multi-Classroom Teacher. She previously taught at IPCP for the 2011-2012 school year and worked several summers of IPCP’s Nature in the City Summer Camp. Toni has a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University. She has over 15 years of teaching experience working with toddlers, preschool-aged children, and Kindergarten students.
Ann Elizabeth Simons
Ann Elizabeth joined IPCP in 2017 as an Assistant Multi-Age Teacher and became a Lead Multi-Age Teacher in 2018. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies: Child Development from the University of Southern Mississippi. Ann Elizabeth came to IPCP with over 5 years experience as an assistant teacher and a youth counselor working with children and families.
Elizabeth started at IPCP in 2018 as a Lead Multi-Age Teacher. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Design and spent time in marketing before pursuing a career in early childhood education. Elizabeth has over 20 years experience working with children as a nanny and a preschool teacher.
Erin came to IPCP in 2017 as an Assistant Multi-Age Teacher. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre from Columbia College in Chicago. Prior to joining IPCP, Erin worked professionally in the Chicago theater community and as a preschool teacher.
Stephanie joined IPCP in 2017 working with the Multi-Age program. She has an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education. Stephanie came to IPCP with over ten years of experience working in early childhood education programs and is a certified yoga teacher.
Brittany started at IPCP in 2018 as an Assistant Multi-Age Teacher. She has an Associates in Early Childhood Education, a Bachelors in Psychology, and a Bachelors in Music. Brittany has 5 years of teaching experience and has taught preschool at a HeadStart program and worked as an Applied Behavior Analysis therapist.
