Executive Director
Lisa brings over 20 years of experience in early education, working with children from infants to 8 years of age. She has been a part of the IPCP community since 2015, contributing as a parent, teacher, and Curriculum Director. Lisa's commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging environment supports both staff and students in thriving. She holds a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and Healthcare Finance. In her free time, Lisa enjoys traveling and Sunday karaoke with her family.
Director Emeritus
Emily has been part of the IPCP community since 2005 as a parent, board member, lead multi-age teacher, and most recently as Executive Director. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Rochester. Emily previously taught at a few other local preschools and has over 20 years of preschool experience.
Toddler Program Manager
Beth joined the IPCP team in 2021 as Assistant Director after many years of preschool experience in various roles from parent volunteer to director and is excited to start her new role as Toddler Program Manager in 2024. She has a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Religion from Wake Forest University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Georgia. Beth is an Atlanta native and had worked in real estate and non-profit administration before pursuing a career in early childhood education. In her free time, she enjoys singing alto, growing flowers and spending time with her family, including her goofy standard poodle.
Preschool Program Manager
Mariann joined IPCP for the 2022-2023 school year and is excited to start her new role as Program Manager. Originally from Chicago, she has lived in Atlanta since 1988. Mariann has been working and playing with children for over 20 years; teaching, tutoring, and nannying children from infants to age 10. Although she has had much experience with public elementary school, she is extremely excited to begin this new chapter at IPCP by following the children’s lead! Mariann lives in Grant Park and enjoys walks on the beltline and in the park.
Preschool Curriculum Director
Returning to IPCP in her new position as Curriculum Director makes Sarah very happy! Since 2006, when she joined as a parent and served on the board, Sarah has been a vital member of the IPCP community. Sarah started as a lead teacher in 2009 and became assistant director in 2014, giving her 15 years of expertise in early childhood education. She has strong experience in developing captivating, nature-based curricula and a love for using music to promote child development. Her work as a music enrichment instructor from 2017-2020 and her contribution to the creation of IPCP's Nature-Based Curriculum demonstrate her dedication to creating a stimulating learning environment. Sarah has a degree in music education from Ithaca College and a master's degree in voice performance from the Conservatory of New England. She traveled with the Atlanta Opera's Educational Outreach Program prior to becoming a mother, performing operatic adaptations of children's tales, such as Little Red Riding Hood, in elementary schools around Georgia. In her spare time, Sarah likes to play ukulele, bake, exercise, and spend time with her two kitties and family.
Office Manager
Laura Lancaster or LLA returned to IPCP as the Office Manager in 2009. Prior to that, LLA was a parent, board member, and teacher at IPCP. She has degrees in Psychology and Theatre Arts & Speech from Sewanee: The University of the South. LLA’s previous work experience includes office and human resources positions.
