Summer Camp 2024 Registration is open!
IPCP’s Nature in the City Summer Camp is back for another summer full of discovery, outdoor fun, and friendship! Campers will spend their days playing in nature, engaging in a variety of learning activities, and exploring our indoor and outdoor classrooms. A typical day at IPCP’s Nature in the City Summer Camp includes the following:
Conscious Discipline Connection activities during morning circle
Two small group activities per day related to the session theme
Free-play in our rich learning environments
Story and song times throughout the day
Snack and lunch times (campers bring all meals from home)
A registration fee of $35 per child for currently enrolled families and $50 per child for all other families will be collected at the time of registration. More information on payment policies will be found in the application. Registrations are processed on a “first come, first served” basis. Space is limited!
Important Camp Information
Camp will be offered in four 2-week sessions. AfterCare (until 3 pm) will be offered daily and must be pre-paid for an entire session; there will be no drop-in AfterCare offered during the 2024 camp sessions.
Camp hours are 9 am - 1 pm
AfterCare is offered until 3 pm
5-day (M-F), 3-day (M/W/F) and 2-day (T/Th) options are available
IPCP Summer Camp serves children ages 2 - 5; Children who are 1 (as of September 1, 2024) may enroll if they currently attend IPCP or will attend IPCP for the 2024-2025 school year
The tuition for Sessions 1, 2, and 3 have been adjusted to reflect the holiday closures on May 27, June 19, and July 4, respectively
Children who are currently enrolled in the 2023-24 T2 Honeybees class will be placed in the Preschool Camp

Session 1: Animal Adventures
(May 28 - June 7)
Let's kick off the summer with an exciting look into the wonderful world of animals! Hands-on adventures will including live animal encounters, collaborative games, crafts, and stories highlighting themes of responsibility and compassion.

Session 2: Food Frenzy
(June 10 - June 21)
Welcome to a session packed with culinary adventures as we delve into a variety of delicious activities centered around food! We will harvest fresh ingredients from our gardens, learn how to combine ingredients into recipes, and discover interesting facts that encourage healthy eating habits!

Session 3: Musical Madness
(June 24 - July 5)
A session packed with vibrant rhythms, melodies, and sounds awaits! Campers will engage in interactive musical activities, discover and create different instruments, and experiment with beats through movements, games, and sing-a-longs galore!

Session 4: Wonderful Water
(July 8 - July 19)
Let's splash, play, and investigate water! Campers will build water mazes, explore water as it freezes and thaws, experiment with things that float and sink, and so much more. Prepare to get wet (by choice of course) and have fun!
