All IPCP classes participate in monthly enrichment activities taught by professional instructors.

Monthly yoga classes, taught by Miss Lucy, increase coordination, strength, and balance, develop skills around concentration and following directions, promote self-expression in children, and teach children breathing techniques that are helpful in calming the body.

Music classes, taught by Miss Sarah, also occur monthly. Music classes increase language skills, practice gross and fine motor skills, teach number and pattern concepts, promote creative expression, and develop skills around following directions, sharing, and cooperation.

In addition to the monthly enrichment classes, IPCP schedules special visitors who come to the classrooms each school year. Special visitors include the Atlanta Fire Department, Atlanta Mounted Patrol, Zoo Atlanta, Center for Puppetry Arts, veterinarians, dentists, and other local organizations or professionals. These special visitors support learning in the classroom and enhance the experience for the children at IPCP.
